About
I have studied 3 years of Sewing & Fashion Design at college.
1 year Pattern Drafting & Fashion Design at Tillskärarakademin in Malmö.
A course in Corset Making at Tillskärarakademin in Malmö.
1 year Historic Costume for Theatre at Tillskärarakademin in Gothenburg.
After my years at school I have continued to design & make clothes, mostly for myself, family & friends.
I run my business on the side of my part-time job.
As luck would have it back in 2006, I became acquainted with the owner of the local yarn shop & she let me show off some of my costumes in her window display. This lead to me meeting some very dear friends & customers who also happen to be artistic in their own way.
A wonderful artist & customer, who always inspires me is Susanne Demåne & luckily for me likes to have historic clothing made for her. I have made a number of costumes for Susanne & she also let me showcase some costumes inspired by her art during the opening day of her exhibition held in Ronneby, Summer 2009.
Another customer, children's book author Kim M. Kimselius, who asked me to make her a Marie Antoinette inspired dress for the launch of her book, The Guillotine, Autumn 2007.
Besides sewing I love to crochet & dabble in jewellery making. Crafting in general is great fun, I'll give anything a go once.
